Tubing Layout - $400.00
Tubing layouts and piping schematics are included in the total
project price, and are provided after receipt of your purchase order.
Preliminary layouts prior to purchase orders can be provided for
the fee above. Drawings can be provided in digital or printed versions,
and will be released upon receipt of payment.
Tool Rental - $50.00/Day
- Pneumatic Stapler – The pneumatic staple
gun is designed for radiant floor tubing and has a “tubing
dam” which lines the staple with the tube to reduce tube
damage. Use Infloor staples only.
- Tubing Uncoiler – The tubing uncoilers
allow the tubing to be uncoiled without binding or kinking, and
reduce the installation time greatly.
- Purge Cart – The purge cart is a mobile
jet pump and mixing tank which can fill and purge your entire
system quickly with water or water-glycol mixtures.
Rental time starts once the tool leaves the warehouse and stops
when it returns. The per-day charge is in increments of 24 hours,
including weekends. An additional day will be charged once the time
exceeds a 24 hours increment. The rental equipment can be picked
up during normal office hours. We can ship the stapler UPS Next
Day to the customer, freight included.
Installation Supervision - $400.00
A representative from Kress Associates
will be on hand to direct the installing contractor (or other sub-contractor)
in the installation of radiant tubing and manifolds. The installing
contractor is responsible for providing all tools and pressurization
equipment. (We can provide a list of required tools, etc.) The service
cost covers the installation supervision, a maximum of 4 hours at
the job site, and travel within 100 mile radius. Additional time
at the job site and/or for excessive travel will cost extra. All
tubing, manifolds, and fittings, accessories, and required tools
and equipment must be at the job site.
- For concrete slab installations, all sub-grade preparation
must be complete.
- For staple-down pour-over installations, any additional sill
plates, sleepers, and vapor barriers should be installed.
- For staple-up installations, joist spaces should be accessible
and free of piping, duct work, etc.
- Power must provided for any tools and/or compressors.
Cancellations require 24 hours notice. No-shows or late cancellations
will be charged the full rate. If the equipment is not fully present
at the job site, service will be cancelled, invoiced for the full
rate, and a return trip scheduled. Return visits will also be charged
the full rate.
