Equipment Start-Up Services
Start-Up Supervision - $400.00
A representative from Kress Associates or the equipment
manufacturer will be on hand to direct the installing contractor
(or other sub-contractor) in the start-up procedure. The installing
contractor is responsible for providing all tools and testing devices
required for the start-up. (We can provide a list of required tools,
etc.) The start-up cost covers the start-up of one piece of equipment,
a maximum of 4 hours at the job site, a final report, and includes
travel time. Additional pieces of equipment and/or time will cost
extra.
Start-Up & Commissioning - $800.00
A Factory Authorized start-up contractor will be on hand to start
the equipment and perform all required tests. This contractor will
provide their own tools and testing devices. The start-up cost covers
the start-up of one piece of equipment, a final report, and a maximum
of 4 hours including travel. Additional pieces of equipment and/or
time will cost extra.
Factory Start-Up & Training - $1,600.00
A Factory Authorized start-up contractor will be on hand to start
the equipment and perform all required tests. This contractor will
provide their own tools and testing devices. A representative from
Kress Associates or the equipment manufacturer will be on hand to
train all parties on the operation and maintenance of the equipment.
The trainer will provide any training tools required. The start-up
cost covers the start-up of one piece of equipment, one training
session, a final report, and a maximum of 8 jobsite hours including
travel. Additional pieces of equipment and/or time will cost extra.
Adder for each additional piece of equipment - $200.00
Adder for each additional hour at job site - $100.00
Requirements for Start-Up:
Equipment must be installed completely. Any field supplied
accessories must also be installed completely.
- All power is connected per instructions and properly energized
- All controls and control wiring are connected per instructions
and have been tested
- Any fuel piping has been connected, pressurized, and bled of
any air
- Any exhaust and/or combustion air venting has been connected
according to instructions and code requirements
- All system piping or duct work has been attached per specifications,
and any required pumps or blowers are fully functioning.
Cancellations require 24 hours notice. No-shows or late cancellations
will be charged the full rate.
If the equipment is not fully installed, the start-up will be cancelled,
invoiced for the full rate, and a return trip scheduled. Return
visits will also be charged the full rate.
